Annual Report for the Year ended on 31st March 2024
New Shiv Shakti Shikshan Samiti, Kharainti registered in 1999 under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 on 29th January 1999 and got a revised Certificate of Registration under Societies Act 2012 on 14th October 2013 allotting a new registration no. HR/RTK/2013/00350. The Society has also obtained provisional registration under section 12A of Income Tax Act.
New Shiv Shakti Shikshan Samiti is working with the objectives such as awareness in general public for issues related with environment, for upliftment of weaker section, helping the needy section of society, education to all, welfare of animals, preservation of water resources, awareness for use of water and electricity, plantation, awareness for sanitation and personal hygiene, blood donation camps, voter’s rights and awareness, training programs.
New Shiv Shakti Shikshan Samiti is the leading NGO in its area and is very rich in its human resources and volunteers team. It has a team which is capable of handling large programs funded by State & Centre Government as well as by other funding agencies like mother NGOs. NSSSS is also very much involved in the radio awareness programs. It conducts various programs such as Tb awareness, Fact Shala, Corona awareness and many more through its rich radio assets in the city.
Income
In the past fiscal year, our NGO has demonstrated a strong financial performance, driven by the generous support of our donors and strategic fundraising efforts. Our revenue streams have diversified to effectively sustain and expand our public welfare and education initiatives, including the operation of our community-focused radio station. Contributions from individual donors, corporate partners, and grant funding have collectively ensured the successful implementation of our programs and services. The continued financial backing has not only supported our educational outreach and welfare programs but also allowed us to enhance our radio station’s capacity to broadcast valuable content that informs and engages our community. We are grateful for the ongoing commitment of our supporters, which plays a crucial role in advancing our mission and driving meaningful impact in the communities we serve. The society has earned total receipts of Rs. 13,82,742 which is majorly consist of running Radio programs in collaboration with various authorities amounting to Rs. 4,49,262, Advertisement income of Rs. 4,25,000, donations received for Rs. 4,28,480 and Member’s donation amounting to Rs. 80,000.
There is excess of expenditure over income for the current period amounting to Rs. 1,108. In previous year there was an excess of expenditure over income amounting to Rs. 4,816.
Programme Expenses
The society have performed and incurred its majority of income amounting to Rs. 9,44,000 on various programs during the year. The programs are discussed in detail in later section of annual report.
Change in Management
There are no changes in the Management in the Financial Year 2023-24.
Significant Accounting Policies
The financial statements are prepared in accordance with Indian Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) under the historical cost convention on the accrual basis of accounting and comply with accounting standards as prescribed by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and other pronouncements of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. There is no change in accounting policy regularly employed.
Revenue Recognition
Income from sale of services has been recognized at the time when service to the recipient is rendered and no significant uncertainty exists regarding the amount of the consideration that will be derived from the sale of the services. The grant income & donation income is recognized at the time of receipt. There is no change in accounting policy regularly employed.
Tangible Fixed Assets
Fixed Assets are stated at cost of acquisition less accumulated depreciation. Depreciation has been provided on the written down value method at the rates and method specified in Income Tax Act 1961. There is no change in accounting policy regularly employed.
Provisions, contingent liabilities and contingent assets
The provisions as on 31st March 2024 stand at Rs. 16,000. The provision is made similar to previous year as per the management’s judgement. There are no contingent assets or liabilities as on 31st March 2024 as per management’s judgement.
Activities of Society
- Community Radio Station 91.2 FM:
NGO is running Apna Radio 91.2 FM (CRS), Dagar Wali Gali, Charkhi Dadri in District Headquarter for awareness of community for spread of Covid-19, its measures & current scenarios. Education, Health, Agriculture, Consumer Rights, Women Empowerment, Water conservation, Girl Child Protection, Legal Rights, Voter’s Awareness, Labour Welfare etc..
NGO had purchased assets worth Rs. 15 Lakh for this program in year 2018-19. NGO is also providing employment to the local talent in the field of radio. This radio station provides NGO an upper hand over other NGOs as the social issues can be addressed very easily and the reach to the general public is very wide.
NGO is also generating revenue from this Radio Station. This revenue is utilized for the betterment of society as a whole and to fulfil the objective of the NGO. Apna Radio helped thousands of people and saved many lives in these testing times with its wide reach & network.

Environment awareness program
Our NGO’s radio station has been instrumental in advancing environmental awareness through its dedicated programming. Over the past year, our environment awareness program has reached thousands of listeners with critical information on sustainability, conservation, and eco-friendly practices. 2. Girl Child Education Awareness Program:
Our NGO’s radio station has made significant strides in promoting girl child education through a dedicated awareness program. 3.Water Conservation & Biodiversity awareness program:
Our NGO’s radio station proudly runs a comprehensive Water Conservation and Biodiversity Awareness Program, dedicated to educating listeners about the critical importance of preserving our natural resources. This program features expert insights, practical conservation tips, and engaging stories on how communities can actively contribute to water preservation and protect local biodiversity. Save Energy awareness program:

Women Empowerment Program:

Nukkad Natak on Social Issues:
Our NGO has successfully introduced Nukkad Nataks (street plays) in Charkhi Dadri as a dynamic method to address pressing social issues. Road Safety:
Our NGO’s Road Safety Camp is dedicated to enhancing public awareness and promoting safe driving practices. Distribution of free Sanitary Pads:

Distribution of free Blankets and clothes:

Primary education awareness with free distribution of books:

Nasha Mukti Awareness program:

Computer Training & Education programs:
Our NGO’s Computer Training & Education Program is designed to bridge the digital divide and enhance technological skills among underserved communities. Polio Awareness program:
Our society’s Polio Awareness Program is dedicated to educating the community about the prevention, symptoms, and impacts of polio. Through a series of informative sessions, workshops, and outreach activities, we aim to increase public understanding of this debilitating disease and promote vaccination as the most effective preventive measure. By collaborating with healthcare professionals and leveraging various media platforms, our program seeks to dispel myths, encourage vaccination, and ensure that families are well-informed about polio’s risks and prevention strategies. This initiative reflects our commitment to public health and the eradication of polio through proactive awareness and community engagement.
Voter awareness program:
A voter’s awareness campaign is organized to show the importance of voting. People have been motivated to vote as much as possible because it is their right as per Constitution of India and everyone should exercise that right.
A free of cost booklet was distributed to everyone which describes the advantages of voting for the country along with the rules and regulations to vote.
Swachh Bharat Abhiyan
Our society is actively engaged in supporting the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, a national initiative aimed at improving sanitation and cleanliness across India. Through a variety of activities, including community clean-up drives, educational campaigns, and awareness programs, we are committed to promoting hygiene practices and environmental stewardship. Tree plantation with distribution of free saplings:

Health Camp & blood donation
Our society is committed to enhancing community health through the organization of comprehensive Health Camps and Blood Donation Camps. This initiative helps in early detection of health issues and promotes overall wellness.
